It’s already November, but you wouldn’t be able to tell from the warm weather we are having at the moment. Yesterday it was 20°C and we went to Paris to see an exhibition of Leonardo da Vinci’s Codex Atlanticus. There were some models as well, but sadly no war machines or flying machines you could try out for youself.
After the museum we walked along the Champs-Élysées, where the Christmas market booths are already being prepared.
I just know, at some point I’ll forget how much I dislike the crowds and the Glühwein and will visit there.
Speaking of Christmas, we’ll be in Vienna right after Christmas, by the way. I was planning on bringing chestnut purree and all the things I’m fascinated with. But we ended not shelling out for check in luggage, so there probably won’t be any edible souvenirs from France.
Gergö and I discussed getting this as a Christmas present:
However, it’s 1.92 m, so it clearly wouldn’t fit into a moving box. So, no storm trooper housemate for us… The smaller stormtroopers in the background are much, much cheaper and have a button that says “try me” on their chest. SadlyI can’t reach it. I don’t want to get kicked out of Auchan for climbing on the merchandise, so I still don’t know what the button does.
Maybe a more realistic Star Wars themed Christmas present are these popsicles:
In case you were wondering, no, I’m not getting tired of it, yet! But don’t worry, it’s only 6 more weeks.
